[06] Libido Differences Beyond Gender Stereotypes

The strength of one's sex drive varies greatly from person to person. That is simply a fact.

It is not something to compare with others, nor something to impose. In most cases, satisfying that drive requires a partner, and that partner often has a very different level of desire. Because another person is involved, differences in libido naturally lead to dilemmas.

I can only speak from the perspective and viewpoint of a man. However, among the women who apply for our shoots and intimate sessions, many struggle with high sex drives and how to fulfill them. In fact, we receive even more consultations about this via email.

Men, too, experience wide differences in desire. Some seek intimacy with their partner daily, while others are content with once a week.

The real challenge lies in the difficulty of openly discussing these differences, or finding it hard to accept them even after talking. Discussing sex can be uncomfortable even between committed partners, and aligning one's libido to match another is even harder.

In today's world, spaces where women can speak openly about sex have gradually increased. Even so, women who discuss sexuality often face negative judgment or misunderstandings compared to men. Regardless of gender, I truly hope for an era where people can discuss their desires constructively and find fulfilling ways to satisfy them together.
